  • The new mobile GNSS reference system developed by the QualiSaR team has been sucessfully set into service. First test runs in the Alps demonstrated the high performance the reference localisation system even in challenging real-world automotive test scenarios.
  • The reference localisation system has been integrated into a test vehicle at the technical meeting on 6 March 2013.
  • A prototype of the reference localisation system has been set into service at the technical meeting on 23-24 October 2012. The reference localisation system is based on the LPM technology of the consortium member ABATEC. Future work will deal with the integration of the localisation system into a test vehicle, which serves as a carrier of the vehicle-sided components of the mobile reference system.
  • The SkyToll company joined the Advisory Board of QualiSaR. SkyToll operates the electronic tolling system in the Slovak Republic and will advise the QualiSaR project partners in questions of requirements of satellite-based localisation services for tolling systems.
  • The T-Systems company joined the Advisory Board of QualiSaR. T-Systems is member of the German Toll Collect consortium and will advise the QualiSaR project partners in questions of requirements of satellite-based localisation services for tolling systems.
  • The QualiSaR consortium arranged the workshop on the specifications for the mobile reference system on 16 April 2012 successfully. A first draft of the requirements was presented by TU BS and discussed within the consortium. The requirements engineering is expected to be completed as scheduled in November 2012.
